''Yan Xiaoqiang’s Autumn Thoughts. Out of the Chinese Dance tradition, this beautiful piece is inspired by Ma Zhiyuan’s poem of the same title, from the Yuan period. It is an exploration of the feelings of autumn in different places, and considers how one may have a sense of isolation, even when there are many people around.'' (HKAPA)
