Mateus Manninen (b.1989) is a Helsinki based lighting and video designer. He graduated from the University of the Arts Helsinki as a Master of Arts in 2018. He has studied architecture and landscape architecture at Aalto University and spent the fall semester 2015 at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the spring semester 2016 at the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen. In fall 2019 Manninen started Master's Programme in Architectural Lighting Design at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Manninen is working mostly with architecture, dance and theatre productions, installations and music venues.  He is a member of Neptuges designer collective and Viihdekeskus-collective.
